Chen Qing appointed as Yantian Party chief

Chen Qing was appointed Party chief of Yantian District on Dec. 19. Chen is also a member of the Standing Committee of Yantian District Committee of the CPC.

The announcement was made at a district government meeting that afternoon.

Chen ,born in 1968 in Qichun County in Hubei Province, joined the CPC in Aug. 1995. He has a master’s degree in Economics.

He majored in library science in Nankai University between 1987 and 1991. He worked at the State Archives Administration of the P.R.C. and vice director of the Youth League Committee Office of the company from 1991 to 1996.

He began to work as a librarian and editor of the Office Administration magazine under the Secretary office of the CPC Central Committee from June 1996 to 2001.

He was promoted to be deputy secretary general of Sihui Municipal Committee of the CPC in 2006.

He became Member of the Standing Committee of Luohu District Committee of the CPC and executive deputy head of Luohu District in 2014 and Deputy Party chief of Longhua District Committee of the CPC, head of Longhua District Government and Party Group in 2017.
